Erwin A. Strumpler Obituary
Through the precious promises of Holy Baptism on May 5, 1911 at
Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hebron.  On May 10, 1925 he
confirmed his God-given faith during the rite of Confirmation.  On
September 9, 1939 Erwin was united in marriage to Berniece
Blanchard in Belleville, Kansas.  After their marriage the couple lived in
Hebron for a couple of years.  Later on they moved to Lincoln,
Nebraska where Erwin was employed by the Elgin Watch Company.
After living in Lincoln for twelve years Erwin and Berniece moved to
Winter Park, Florida and have lived here for 37 years.  Erwin retired
from the Public Gas Company in 1971.  Erwin was very active in every
church where he was a member.  That is also true of his membership
at King of Kings where he and his wife became members on March 16,
1969.  During the last several years Erwin had declining health and yet
his death was sudden.

The Lord summonsed Erwin from the Church Militant to the Church
Triumphant on Friday, September 27, 1991 at the age of 80 years, 7
months, and one day.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife of 52 years, Berniece; a daughter,
Vernelle Cooley; a son Kennard Strumpler; and four grandchildren.
There is also one surviving sister.

May the God of all comfort, who is faithful to all of His promises give us
the certainty that Erwin is in heaven just as Jesus promised,
"Because I live, you will live also"
